Roasted Tomato Cream in the Classica® Skillet: Deep Flavor, Simple Ingredients

Roasted Tomato Cream in the Classica® Skillet: Deep Flavor, Simple Ingredients

Ingredients

Some recipes win you over with their simplicity. This roasted tomato cream, made in the Classica® skillet and blended with filtered water from our Club WaterSystems, is a perfect example of clean, nourishing, and full-bodied flavor with minimal ingredients.

By roasting the tomatoes, garlic, and onion, we unlock their natural sweetness. A pinch of sugar balances the acidity, and fresh basil or oregano adds a final aromatic touch. It’s elegant, cozy, and delicious — ready in minutes.

Classica® Tip: Always use filtered water to enhance the true taste of your ingredients and keep your cooking clean and healthy.

Ingredients

  • 8 ripe red tomatoes, halved

  • 2 garlic cloves, skin on

  • 1 white onion, halved

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

  • 200 ml filtered water (Club WaterSystems)

  • Salt to taste

  • A pinch of sugar (to reduce acidity)

  • Dried oregano or fresh basil (optional, for garnish and aroma)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the skillet. Heat your Classica® skillet over medium heat and add just a teaspoon of olive oil.

  2. Roast the ingredients. Place tomatoes, garlic, and onion cut-side down. Roast until browned on all sides.

  3. Blend with filtered water. Transfer all roasted ingredients to a blender with 200 ml of filtered water from the Club WaterSystems.

  4. Season to taste. Add salt, a pinch of sugar, and optionally, some fresh basil or oregano.

  5. Serve hot. Reheat if needed, and enjoy with croutons, toast, or a swirl of cream.

Classica® Tips

  • The Classica® skillet browns beautifully with minimal oil.

  • Roasting naturally sweetens the tomatoes, so less sugar is needed.

  • Filtered water helps achieve a smooth, clean-tasting soup.
